3. Position the computer right-side up, with the rear toward you.

4. Slide the hinge cover away from the computer. The hinge cover is available in the Plastics Kit,

spare part number 597829-001.

5. Position the computer right-side up, with the front toward you.

6. Disconnect the display panel cable (1) from the system board.

7. Remove the display panel cable from the clip built into the system board shield (2).

8. Disconnect the microphone cable (3) from the system board.

9. Remove the WLAN and WWAN antenna cables from the channel, clips, and tape that secure the

cables to the system board shield (4).

10. Position the computer right-side up, with the rear toward you.

11. Rotate the display (1) to gain easier access to the screws in the display bracket.

CAUTION: The display assembly will be unsupported when the following screws are removed.

To prevent damage to the display assembly, support it before removing the screws.
